This series of images shows some early progress and some of the design principles I also ended up using for the final version of Moodles. I decided to control the head with only one LEGO NXT computer and that its three output ports would control one lip, two symmetrical eyebrows, and tilting the entire head. I ended up reusing the body of Feelix (which, in fact, borrowed the body of Elektra).

After these shots were taken, though, I rotated the motors so they are oriented backwards, not upwards, to make the head shorter.

The following shot was taken when I was rebuilding and programming the robot for the art exhibition at ARoS.
