The Phorum
is meant for discussions about the project and the tools, and for important
announcements about the course. Please adhere to the following guidelines for posting:
- Ask any question you like, but we will focus on answering technical issues.
- Feel free to jump in and answer questions from your fellow students, but make sure
that your answer is correct. We will remove misleading postings to avoid unnecessary
confusion.
- Don't post large fragments of code from your project. Those kinds of questions
should be sent by e-mail to your TA.
- When reporting errors in the tools, look first at this advice on
How to Report Bugs Effectively.
- Resist the temptation to exploit the Phorum as your personal platform.
If your postings are excessive, irrelevant, and idiosyncratic, you will be
quarantined in a sandbox forum.
